To make meditation easy to learn and enjoyable to do for everyone, especially if they’ve never meditated before.
Also offering ways to help people who have previously tried meditation but found it difficult or overly complicated. If you can breathe, you can meditate. I will show you how.
Committed to making meditation affordable and accessible to everyone from all walks of life, regardless of financial status, or any other previously encountered barrier to learn.
Who runs Zenlightenment?
Karl Jeffery, that’s me! I’m the founder of Zenlightenment. I have been teaching meditation since 2015 (but meditating for many years more). I have over a thousand satisfied clients and students all over the world, who now benefit from having a regular meditation practice in their lives.
What I do and how I help
I make meditation easy to learn and enjoyable to do, while helping to establish the solid foundations for a meditation practice that gets results.
I provide one to one meditation teaching, and courses that can be enjoyed from the comfort of your own home, along with all the support and guidance needed. I also create guided meditations for relaxation, and guided meditations to facilitate learning how to meditate.
Why I do it
When people learn how to meditate properly it can be life changing for them. The benefits that come from meditation can be life changing. It’s effective, and it works.
I love helping people to live happier, healthier, more fulfilling and enjoyable lives. I get a massive buzz from helping someone learn how to reduce the less stress, struggle and frustration that they often feel overwhelmed by. Our minds are curious things, always striving to solve problems, and often we get stuck in the hamster wheel of overthinking or being bombarded by our thoughts. By helping a person learn how to meditate, they can learn to detach and let go from all of that, and experience a deeper sense of inner calm, balance and joy.
Empowering yourself to use the inner technology of your own being enables you to discover, experience and tap into the true benefits of meditation for yourself. Meditation has a multitude of benefits for those who practice it, and I’m here to help more people learn how to access and enjoy these benefits for themselves. Meditation also accelerates our spiritual evolution. The more of us there are meditating, the more compassion, connection & harmony there will be on earth. The more compassionate, happier, soul-felt connected people there are in the world, the more the planet will benefit and future generations will benefit.
Why the word ‘Zenlightenment’?
Zenlightenment is a gentle play on the words; Zen and Enlightenment.
Zen also means:
relaxed and at peace: not worrying about the things that you cannot change.
Zen is about direct experience and mindfulness in everyday life. It encourages living in the present moment and finding enlightenment through simple, natural awareness, rather than through rigid rituals or intellectual understanding.
Zen teaches that the truth is already within us and can be realised through meditation, self-awareness, and a spontaneous, non-judgmental approach to life.
